Regional Director (Primary)

to £80k

Northern / Central / Southern Regions

Becoming Regional Director (Primary) for a leading education trust offers the chance to play a decisive role in shaping the success of schools in our network, and to make great things happen in education. For a high-calibre teaching professional with a track record of raising educational standards, it’s a very attractive proposition.

Ambitious, inspirational and profoundly motivated by improvement, you’ll bring sound evidence of raising and sustaining standards of pupil attainment and achievement in primary schools. The analytical acumen to interpret data, identify and implement improvement strategies, and the leadership to inspire rapid improvements in leadership and teaching, will allow you to make a lasting difference to primary academies in your region.

As a visible system leader within the Trust, you’ll recognise outstanding practice, and support headteachers and leadership teams to nurture it. You’ll ensure that each academy’s three-year plans to deliver outstanding improvement are ambitious, fit for purpose and focused on key priorities. Driving robust and specific self-evaluation to help lead schools towards world-class standards, you’ll be able to build on already impressive expertise in critical interventions, developing leaders of teaching and learning, and taking periods of interim and/or Executive Headships across the hub academies as required.

About the David Ross Education Trust

The David Ross Education Trust is committed to becoming one of the top-performing multi-academy trusts in the country. Recognised as a nationwide system leader, the Trust works with 34 primary and secondary schools across the country, ranging from small rural primaries with around 50 children, to much larger secondary schools in urban areas. Working together, with a shared ethos and values, our close-knit family of schools allows pupils to begin and continue their world-class academic journey throughout primary and secondary school within the David Ross Education Trust.

David Ross Education Trust's 20 primary academies, located across the South, Midlands, East and North of England, are improving and strengthening at every level. Phonics results and outcomes against Expected Standard and Greater Depth Standard are all improving significantly, meaning that we are making huge progress in communities across the country. The foundations are therefore in place for us to now be the leading multi-academy trust in terms of primary performance. That’s the next step of our journey, and we look forward to welcoming talented and passionate professionals to join us.
