About the role:

The aim of the Ark Estates team is to work with our schools to ensure that our schools’ estates are well managed, maintained and operating to the highest standards for our pupils and staff. 

The Regional Facilities Manager (West London) will act as the point of contact for all estates and facilities matters across Ark’s hub of West London schools.  You will provide advice and support to all academies within the West London area (including health and safety, site maintenance, waste disposal, caretaking, grounds services, security, vehicle maintenance, cleaning, catering & building works) ensuring excellent standards and value for money.    

The Regional Facilities Manager will also lead on all facilities matters in relation to the opening of new academies in the West London region - carrying out due diligence audits and procuring and managing any pre-opening works as required.

About you:

  • Have one or more years’ experience in Facilities Management or in a related field
  • Have a health and safety qualification i.e. IOSH, NEBOSH (desirable)
  • Have drive and enthusiasm for delivering a quality support service that consistently produces positive and demonstrable impact 
  • Have the ability to make sound judgements and assess potential problems at both strategic and operational level
  • Have the experience of working in partnership and collaboration; able to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and partners
