Working closely with academies in our East region, you will provide a proactive HR service whilst supporting the Business Partner to shape the people strategy for the future. In particular, you will act as an advisor to academy leaders, teachers and support staff, collaborate with a team of HR administrators in academies, advising on employment practices, learning and development, pay and conditions, talent planning and disciplinary and grievance matters. Equally importantly, you will drive profound change to ensure we comply with evolving legislation – and above all that we remain an employer of choice.
A CIPD-qualified professional (or working towards this status), you will bring sound generalist HR experience gained in a fast-moving environment. This will have given you experience with case management, interpret and apply guidelines, advise senior management and define best practice. Familiarity with educational issues would naturally be useful, but your interpersonal, conflict resolution and influencing skills will be far more important.
