Job overview

We are seeking a Secondary Regional Improvement Director with a focus on our academies in the Eastern region, to join our academy improvement team.

The Regional Improvement Director will work closely with the other Regional Improvement Directors to create a family of outstanding academies, deliver first-class and innovative education and promote the role of each academy in community transformation.

The Regional Improvement Director will be directly responsible for the strategic vision, target setting and performance of secondary academies in the Eastern region; ensuring that continuous improvements are realised in each academy and across the entire region.

As Regional Improvement Director you will embed a shared culture of outstanding teaching and learning and drive a range of region-wide improvement and collaboration strategies to make this a reality in our academies. As line manager to the Principals you will provide an appropriate balance of challenge, support and CPD and disseminate highly effective practice across the region.

You will act as lead champion for our Eastern region, strengthening the profile of Academy Transformation Trust and each academy with parents, stakeholders and the local community as well as nurturing key strategic partnerships.

The overall purpose of the role is to provide each Principal with the high level direction and expertise required to enable him/her to provide purposeful leadership on a daily basis and to deliver an outstanding education for all pupils through rapid and sustained improvement. In addition, you will support the promotion of new ATT academies in the region, working closely with ATT’s projects’ team to oversee their successful development.
