We have an excellent opportunity for an IT professional to join our thriving IT Team at GLF Schools.

Your Opportunity

We are looking to recruit a Regional IT Technician to work across schools in our Central Region, which covers Banstead, Ewell, Cheam & Epsom. The successful candidate will benefit from the support of our experienced IT teams located throughout Surrey and Oxfordshire and will build links with the Trust IT team and the Regional IT Partners.

The candidate will provide first and second line support in the field, working with a range of systems and users with varying skills and will need to find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT. This is a field-based role comprising of regular scheduled visits, ad hoc and emergency visits as required to our current and future schools.

This role will be working specifically with the schools in our Central region (The Beacon School, Glyn School, Rosebery School, Danetree Primary School, Cuddington Croft Primary School, The Vale Primary School, Warren Mead Schools and Banstead Infant School).

The successful candidate will be based at The Beacon School, Banstead, however there will be a need to travel between schools in this region, therefore a driving licence is essential.

What we are looking for

This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, and we require an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think outside the box to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams. Ideally, we would like the candidate to have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and has experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration and deployment.

Salary: GLF Associate 3 £21,800 - £25,350

Hours: 36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year

Start Date : ASAP
