Overview

We are looking for a Regional Manager to join our team. The right candidate for this role needs to have experience of recruiting international student from China and should have a background in working with agents as well as in direct student recruitment.

Ideal Candidate 

• Sales driven

• Experience in education sales, ideally with a pathway or college in the UK

• Structured and strategic

• Able to manage a sales pipeline & budget plan

• Self-motivated & able to work from home 

• Willing to travel frequently

• A team player with a can do attitude 

• Fluent English & Mandarin, Cantonese would be an advantage if based in the South of China

Key responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for agents in your region, establishing strong relationships and ensuring all agents are fully trained on the Abbey DLD portfolio 

• Create an annual agent visits, events and training plan ensuring that activity is strategic and delivers positive ROI 

• Attend agent fairs and exhibitions on behalf of Abbey DLD

• Day-to-day management of agents and student enquiries, providing support and guidance to agents and students throughout the application process

• Ensuring student conversion rates are as high as possible 

• Achieve sales targets whist remaining within budget

• Regularly report on sales progress and regional activity

• Work pro-actively to generate innovative ideas to drive growth and market share

• Participate and contribute to regional and international sales meetings as part of the global sales team

• Deal with and resolve issues as they arise 

• Work with digital marketing colleagues to devise online campaigns to generate student interest and applications

• Build direct presence in the region through networking, referrals, sponsorship, etc.
