This is an exciting, key leadership opportunity to support students across the campuses in our West Region and will be based at Wilton Campus. This role will support the building of a national Learning Support Department.

The leadership of fully inclusive, outstanding educational provision is the key in describing this exciting role. It will be the role of the Regional SEND Coordinator to assist our schools in meeting students’ identified needs, and to coordinate the work of school-based SEN Coordinators, Teachers and Learning Support Assistants, to ensure the progress and wellbeing of SEND students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead a large team across a number of school settings
  • To work closely with Head Teachers to develop and review SEND provision across four key areas:

Strategic direction and development of LS/SEND provision

Teaching and Learning

Leading and Managing Staff

Efficient and Effective deployment of staff and resources

You will:

  • Be an experienced, qualified, SENCO or an Educational Psychologist
  • Have leadership experience at middle or senior level
  • Have the ability to build a strong rapport with students, staff and parents
  • Be dynamic, caring and confident who has the passion, energy and skill to make a difference
  • Promote positive, effective communications and relationships with all stakeholders
  • A leader who respects the school’s ethos, aims and values
