The Governors of Scarborough College invite applications for the position of Registrar (Maternity Cover). Ranked as a Top 3 UK Small Independent School by The Telegraph in 2017, and a Top 50 UK Independent School by The Times, the appointed candidate will play a crucial role and be a key figure within the confidential Administration team of a school that is in excellent health and that has an ambitious vision for its future.
The College, founded in 1896, is a delightful and rewarding school in which to work with motivated children, supportive parents, a very committed staff body, superb facilities and a glorious location just five minutes from the beach.
With a £4 million programme of refurbishment and extension of its boarding houses recently underway and a £2 million investment into new sports facilities on the horizon, the post-holder will be joining the College at one of the most exciting times in its history.
The North Yorkshire area with its coastline, national parks and market towns is a beautiful location in which to live and work; the quality of life is high and the cost of living low.
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary and many further benefits. He/She is expected to take up the position in May 2019 to allow for a sufficient handover period with our current Registrar.
Scarborough College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening including checks with past employers, prohibition orders and enhanced DBS.
The closing date for applications is 16.00 on Friday 26 April 2019.
Applications should be made by submitting a full CV and completed application form. They should be emailed for the attention of Mrs Kimberley Spenceley, the College's HR Officer (email@example.com), or posted to the College's Main Reception address.
