We currently have a vacancy within our teaching team for a HLTA to work across school to support in the delivery of an engaging and exciting curriculum.

This post will suit professional individuals who are prepared to work flexibly in our vibrant, caring and supportive educational environment. The successful candidate will be able to develop, plan and deliver (with some support and guidance from the class teacher) the required standard of education to our pupils through their professional knowledge and teaching techniques.

What we’d like from you:

• Previous experience teaching or assisting in EYFS education or Key Stage 1 and 2.
• An up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS Framework and/or the national curriculum.
• A passion for teaching
• A commitment to develop and prepare high quality resources for learning opportunities.
• With some support and guidance, the ability to plan personalised learning.
• A knowledge of assessment systems and the ability to contribute to ongoing pupil progress records as well as ongoing assessment within the lesson to shape learning.
• Assist in maintaining records of pupils’ progress
• Knowledge of SEN and how to adapt teaching to suit all learners
• Good behaviour management
• High expectations for all pupils
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective organisational capability
• Great team player
• Energy and enthusiasm
• Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude
• Attend meetings as appropriate
• Actively seeks professional development.
