Mount St Benedict College is a Catholic, all girls High School at Pennant Hills in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs, New South Wales. The school was founded in 1966 and is incorporated as a company with a board of 12 directors. It’s one of 10 schools run by Good Samaritan Education in Australia. It serves students from the ages of 12 through to 18, with approximately 1,000 female pupils and 130 staff members. In 2015, Mount St Benedict College was ranked as the 12th best performing Catholic school in New South Wales.

Facilities 

Mount St Benedict is based on one site at Pennant Hills, overlooking a bush setting. There is a hall, extensive computer facilities, an Information and Resource Centre, a Technology and Applied Studies building, a dance and drama studio, art and music suites, as well as a sports oval and courts for netball and basketball. The school also has a dedicated chapel, courtyards and water features. 

Curriculum 

The school aims to offer a rigorous academic programme that caters for a diverse range of student needs, including those with special learning requirements. It’s known in the local area for its strong focus on technology, providing students with their own laptops. Classes are made up of approximately 30 students with an extensive choice of subjects and extra-curricular activities. Lessons in French, German and Japanese are also offered at the school.
