Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated professional to join or successful Religious Education department as a our Key Stage Coordinator. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a range of qualifications at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.


The Post    

  • The school is looking for an exceptional current or aspiring Key Stage Coordinator who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.       
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of students, instilling in them a love of learning.    
  • The candidate should be dynamic, inspiring and ready to lead this core subject in this large, popular and outstanding Department with an established record of success. 



The RE Department aims to deliver high-quality Catholic Religious Education and was delighted that the last Section 48 inspection by the Diocese of Brentwood rated the Religious Education provision within the school as Outstanding. Our vision is for all pupils to enjoy and experience interesting, challenging and uplifting lessons where they are encouraged and enable to think and reason independently and maturely with developing religious literacy that will serve not only to guide them on their personal faith journey but equip them to learn about religion and learn from religion. We profess Christ at the centre of our vision.

We are a high achieving 11 -18 school with very good examination results. We have received an Educational Outcomes award for being in the top 12 percent of schools in the country for progress.
