Job overview

Reprographics and Clerical Assistant  - 26 hours per week  41 weeks per year.

We require as soon as possible an enthusiastic, well organised and self-motivated person to join our administration team at this Outstanding (OfSTED April 2011), lively and successful 11-18 Secondary School.  Duties will include all aspects of reprographics along with producing the School’s half termly newsletter, certificates for students, collating information for Year Books, assisting with Powerpoint Presentations and whole school displays.  

Applicants must be able to work in a busy office environment and have the ability to prioritise their workload. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential and preferably some experience of Serif PagePlus would be an advantage.  This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Administration Team, supporting the School and community.  Previous experience of a similar position would be desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Bishop Heber High School is a mixed, non-denominational comprehensive school with a sixth form, there are 1280 students on roll aged 11-18. It is situated in the picturesque village of Malpas. The school has an enviable reputation for excellence both within its catchment area and far beyond. The school was founded in 1960.

Location

Malpas is a large village placed deep in the south Cheshire countryside. There are several pubs in the village as well as good quality local shopping. Malpas also hosts a regular Farmers’ Market. If you are looking to explore, Malpas is a great base for sightseeing with Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales just a stone’s throw away. Practically on your doorstep is the famous city of Chester, you can reach the city in 30 minutes and explore all the historic sites.
