London Enterprise Academy is a Free School at the heart of the vibrant East End. The Academy opened in September 2014 with year 7’s only, in a former glass office block, fully renovated to a high standard. The Academy provides a stimulating education and personalised curriculum within a supportive environment. All of our students are encouraged to stretch themselves to achieve their potential. 

We are looking to recruit a Reprographics Technician, who would be an exceptional individual to provide good quality and effective reprographic service for the school and to develop the service provided to meet the growing needs of the staff using new technology as appropriate.

These will include, as appropriate, those that reflect key corporate priorities, for example, cultural diversity, social justice, environmental quality and economic prosperity.

You will be a key person, providing and maintaining a high quality/ customer-focused (ie, London Enterprise Academy staff and students) document printing service. For this role, you will need to respond quickly to customer demands and ensure high levels of service are consistently achieved.

You will need to be creative and have strong written communication skills together with excellent editing and proofreading ability. This is a fast-paced role where good organisational skills and an unflappable nature are essential!

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will play a vital role in the dissemination of information within the Academy community (students, staff, parents and carers) which will include the following activities and responsibilities (training will be given):

  • Maintaining the Academy Calendar, adding events and activities as approved by the AP and being proactive in obtaining information about these
  • Collating/editing the Staff Bulletin
  • Collating/editing / proofreading Academy publications, for example, Newsletters, Options Booklet, Staff Handbook, Activities Programme, Information Handbook, Prospectus, School Improvement Plan
  • Writing/editing articles for the Academy website and uploading material onto the website
  • Preparing items for the Academy’s internal TV Messaging network and keeping the material up to date and attractive

London Enterprise Academy is a mixed-gender secondary school for children aged 11-16, based in Tower Hamlets, East London. This free school was established in September 2014 and it opened with approximately 120 Year 7 pupils. It was set up by several school leaders and is managed by the London Enterprise Academy Trust. The school is open to children of all faiths and religious backgrounds.
