Job overview
Required for September 2018: Two Resident Graduate Interns for one academic year to assist with the delivery of PE and Sport in the Senior and Junior School and to undertake various other duties. The positions are designed to give graduates an opportunity to gain experience of living and working in a busy and thriving boarding and day school, perhaps prior to embarking on a PGCE course, or taking up a teaching position. An interest in, or experience of coaching rugby and football or hockey and netball would be an advantage, but not essential.
Our graduate interns are required to live on site and play a full part in the life of a busy boarding school. Interns are required to work approximately 40 hours per week which will involve teaching opportunities as well as some administrative tasks and helping out in one of our five boarding houses.

About Sidcot School
Sidcot School is a mixed, independent, all-through Quaker school and sixth form for pupils aged three to nineteen. It is located in Winscombe, Somerset, in south-west England, and has about 550 students on its roll.
The school can trace its history back to 1699, when it was founded by Quakers. However, it moved to its current site in 1808.
The school is a registered charity, and is administered by its governing body. At least half of these governors must be members of the Religious Society of Friends.
