Job Summary:   A varied and fulfilling role that offers invaluable experience of working with both our Senior School Teaching Faculty and the Quaker, Peace and Global Studies Department. This is a residential role which will also include various boarding and school duties both during the week and at weekends.

Within the Senior School Teaching Faculty, responsibilities include providing general in-class support for all students as directed by the class teachers and help to boost the confidence of our young learners. You will also provide some admin support to the Teaching Faculty. In general, your hours will be directed to the subjects that most suit your own knowledge and experience.

Within the Quaker Peace and Global Studies Department, responsibilities include, liaising with Sixth Form Officeholders and other team members to plan and deliver events and activities. You will be responsible for regular input to weekly and termly newsletters, bulletins and social media accounts and to help in the upkeep of the Q, P&GS web page and Firefly pages.  You will also be asked to provide support to the Alumni Office.

About You:  An exciting opportunity for graduates in tune with our approach to education in search of gaining experience of living and working in a boarding and day school, perhaps prior to embarking on a PGCE course or taking up a teaching position.  The candidate will need to be a proactive person who will enjoy sharing their own educational experiences with our students.

Salary:  £13,000 per annum.  A contribution towards accommodation and meals of £1550 per annum is required
