St Hugh’s is a leading day/flexi/weekly boarding co-ed prep school of 350 pupils from age 3-13, set in 40 acres of Oxfordshire countryside.
We are seeking a Resident Boarding Tutor to join our popular Boarding Department, which has capacity for 60 boarders a night. Pastoral excellence is extremely important to us and the boarding staff at St Hugh's share the responsibility for the well-being and welfare of the pupils as well as the domestic and administrative duties that are a part of life within a boarding house. Candidates will be enthusiastic, caring and enjoy working as part of a team. It is also helpful to be IT competent and further training can be given if necessary. It is expected that you will also be involved in the wider life of the school.

St Hugh’s Oxfordshire is a highly regarded co-educational, day and boarding independent preparatory school with 350 boys and girls from the ages of 3 to 13.
Founded in 1906 in Chislehurst, Kent, St Hugh’s School was named after Hugh of Avalon, Bishop of Lincoln from 1156 to 1200. In 1946, the school relocated to Carswell Manor, a Jacobean country house surrounded by 40 acres in Oxfordshire. The school became a charitable trust in 1967 and is administered by a board of governors who are also trustees.
