Residential Boarding Tutor/Rugby Coach (Male)

Required January 2019  

We are seeking a residential male boarding tutor to join the boarding team and also to work with the PE Department to lead the coaching, organisation and development of rugby from age 7 – 19.   Can you support the welfare and well-being of our boarders and provide excellent pastoral care whilst acting ‘in loco parentis’?   Do you have a passion for sport?    

It is essential that the successful applicant can easily establish relationships with girls and boys aged 11-18 as well as their parents/guardians where possible.  They will work well in a team and be able to make decisions and take the initiative if required.    Ideally they will hold a D1 Category driving licence or be able to complete a MiDAS minibus assessment test.    

Hampshire Collegiate School (HCS) is a warm and welcoming independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 2–18.  The school occupies the home of Florence Nightingale and our 130 acres of parkland provide a calm and beautiful space in which to work and enable pupils to learn, play, compete and achieve.
