Role: 

We are recruiting for a number of Residential Graduate Assistants, who will work alongside staff across the organisation to support our students throughout their time at QE, whilst fully immersing yourself in the running of one of our boarding houses.

This job description is written at a specific time and is subject to change as the demands of the Collegiate and the role develops. The role requires flexibility and adaptability and the employees of the Collegiate need to be aware that they may be asked to perform tasks and be given responsibilities not detailed in this job description. 


Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• To fully contribute to all aspects of Collegiate life

• To assist House Parents, in the care and supervision of students in the Boarding House

• To work within a department in the Collegiate supporting with elements of teaching, learning and support

The Appointed Candidate will have: 

• Honours Degree 

• Experience of working with young people up to the age of 18

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel

• Ability to communicate in a professional manner and effectively with other staff and pupils

• Excellent organisational skills

• Knowledge of Child Protection/Safeguarding

• Motivation to work with children and young people

• Close attention to detail
