Residential Housemistress & Assistant Housemistress

Harrogate Ladies' College is looking for two new House staff to join their boarding team.

Firstly, a residential Housemistress to take responsibility for the smooth running of one of the School's four boarding houses and the welfare and development of the girls who are resident in the house.  The successful candidate will have a relevant professional background and the requisite qualities, skills and experience to inspire girls of all ages.

Secondly, a residential Assistant Housemistress to share in the responsibility of running a boarding house and to provide the girls with the best possible experience of a boarding education and 'home from home' experience.  To deputise for the Housemistress when required.

Both these roles are dedicated to the care, development and support of the School's boarding pupils.  In addition to pastoral responsibilities, the Housemistress and Assistant Housemistress will have responsibilities in the wider school community.

Please note that both these positions are non-teaching positions although if an applicant were able to teach art at KS1 and KS2 levels then there may be an opportunity to use these skills.

Interviews scheduled for Friday 3 May 2018.
