Finham Park School is the Lead School in the recently established Finham Park Multi Academy Trust. Primary and secondary schools in Finham Park MAT will set out to pioneer, innovate and deliver a “World Class” education for all.

Finham Park School was judged as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2015, for the second time. It is a Specialist College in Mathematics & Computing, a National Support School, and Leading Edge School. It is highly over-subscribed with a Sixth Form of over 300 students. We have recently become a “World Class” school – a place where all our students develop a love of “learning for life”.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic Restorative Justice Leader to lead the development and implementation of restorative justice programmes across the school. They will support the school in ensuring high standards of academic progress and attainment are achieved for all students. The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people aged 11-18 and the ability to communicate effectively with young people, parents and workers from a range of backgrounds.

Finham Park is a popular and successful 11 -18 comprehensive school situated in the south west of Coventry. It has an excellent reputation within the local community as well as nationally and internationally. The school was re-accredited as a World Class School in July 2018.

Ofsted described the school as a place where there is a strong culture of learning and a proven track record of academic success, with students consistently making above average levels of progress in their studies in both Key Stages 4 and 5. The behaviour of the students is Outstanding.

Their eagerness for learning allows our teachers to deliver stimulating and innovative lessons that result in rapid progress. There is a clear focus on the development of teaching and learning through engagement in national research programmes with a strong structure of support at all levels. In addition, there is personalised programme of professional development and extensive opportunities for career progression.

The school is well resourced. New technologies are widely available and are helping to transform teaching and learning across a diverse range of subjects. In addition, ongoing investment has been made to the whole site - recently by upgrading science laboratories, STEM workrooms and the construction of a sixth form centre.
