This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate rowing coach, whose ultimate priority will be to join the senior squad coaching team alongside providing important administration support to the Head of Rowing.
The senior squad is growing in size and has athletes with a wide range of abilities including potential GB Junior standard. The candidate will have the ability to work in a team with the other senior squad coaches and be willing to coach any senior squad crew as required by the Head of Rowing. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of coaching medal standard crews at national events such as the National Schools Regatta and will have experience of themselves as an athlete who has reached a very good national standard.
The role may require the coach to work with a range of senior squad crews (1st and 2nd crews in J16 and J18) and will require the candidate to work harmoniously with the other senior coaches to achieve the best results for their crew and for the squad as a whole. It will also require the coach to support the J14 and J15 squads throughout the year as required, including working through school holidays and at weekends.
Salary is in accordance with the GDST national scale. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
