We are seeking to appoint a Safeguarding and Guidance Officer to make a significant contribution to our outstanding student support area. 

Supporting a caseload of students with multiple and complex needs, you will provide individual and group support, advocacy and advice to safeguard their welfare. You will also work in partnership with programme areas, the tutorial team and external agencies accepting and making referrals, and promoting safeguarding to students and staff across the College. 

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with young people and families with complex needs. You should also have experience of assessing and managing risk and vulnerability with a particular emphasis on safeguarding in an educational environment, as well as experience of delivering and coordinating multi-agency interventions.
