SAFEGUARDING AND PASTORAL ADMINISTRATOR

Permanent, 27.5 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

(term time weeks plus 5 training days) 

NJC Grade G (points 8 – 13) £13255 to £14635pa

We require a highly efficient Administrator to the Deputy Headteachers and Designated Safeguarding Leads to support the administrative work which provides the necessary high quality of delivery for staff, parents and students in relation to safeguarding processes at the school.  

The post-holder will be required to liaise with a wide cross-section of school personnel, students and parents in regards to the smooth running of the pastoral team. As this post will require access to child protection and safeguarding information, the highest levels of personal integrity, discretion and judgement will be required.

Previous experience in a similar role is not essential but good interpersonal and ICT skills and a high level of accuracy is important.  

Candidates must meet the person specification, be eligible to live and work in the UK and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure.  As travel is required between sites, you must have access to a reliable means of transport in order to carry out your duties.

Training and development opportunities will be offered.  All staff are encouraged to study further and the trust will actively support staff to obtain relevant further qualifications where possible.

Elizabeth Woodville School is an inclusive comprehensive school with approximately 1100 students. Elizabeth Woodville is part of Tove Learning Trust which is a rapidly growing trust whose vision is to ensure that all pupils in the trust academies are provided with outstanding educational experiences that lead to outstanding outcomes. We operate as one school with staff working across both sites, however the successful candidate will be based at one site only.
