Crayford Academy has an opportunity for a safeguarding and Welfare officer to join their Inclusion team. 

At Haberdashers’ Aske’s Crayford Academy, we are committed to ensuring that all pupils in our care feel safe and are supported through any difficulties that they may be experiencing, both inside and outside of school. 

We are looking for an emotionally intelligent and resilient individual who wishes to support the positive development of student welfare.

As a member of our Inclusion team, the post-holder will play a crucial role in safeguarding our pupils in ensuring that, where there are concerns regarding a pupil’s wellbeing,  the appropriate action is taken .This will involve working alongside pupils and their families, as well as colleagues in school and professionals from external agencies. The post-holder will also ensure there are quality assurance mechanisms in place to monitor, review and evaluate arrangements for the protection of children.
