Are you committed to promoting the welfare of children and protecting them from harm?

We are currently looking for a dynamic and accomplished safeguarding manager to ensure the consistency of safeguarding procedures across our Trust.

As someone who is well versed in keeping children safe in Education you will drive the vision, ethos and policies of the Trust, ensuring all academies meet statutory safeguarding requirements.

Additionally, you will be instrumental in leading safeguarding peer reviews and ensure that recommendations are followed through Support Designated Safeguarding Leads with complex cases.

You will be liaising with external agencies, colleagues and multi-agency teams as required so will need to be a good communicator with strong inter-personal skills.

Alongside your daily duties you will be contributing to the development and review of related policies (safeguarding, prevent and so on) in conjunction with the Governance team. Ideally you will have previous experience of prevent duty guidance, knowledge of the single central register and DBS procedures and have previously lead safeguarding in a school setting.
