Job overview

Exeter College are looking to appoint a talented and inspirational Safeguarding Manager to join our outstanding Student Experience Team.  


As the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will be responsible for developing, leading and disseminating best practice in safeguarding across the College and will be the first point of contact for intervention for all safeguarding issues.  You will provide direction on all matters of Child Protection and Safeguarding and ensure that the College complies with all relevant legislation and safeguarding obligations, including delivery of training.


Successful applicants will need to be prepared to work flexibly, demonstrate resilience and have in-depth knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures, as well as the ability to work under pressure and be able to communicate effectively with both young people and adults.
