SAFEGUARDING OFFICER/DEPUTY DESIGNATED SAFEGUARDING LEAD

Band 4 to midpoint (Actual starting salary £21,070)

Hours are 37 per week, Monday 8.00am to 4.00pm, Tuesday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm, term time only.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  

This popular school seeks to employ a calm, committed and enthusiastic Safeguarding Officer/Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our team.  The successful candidate will play a key role managing safeguarding within the school and be the first point of contact/intervention for students, parents and external agencies.


Applicants must demonstrate a good understanding of school safeguarding policies and procedures.

Specialising in sports since 2004, our sports facilities, teaching expertise and extra-curricular provision are outstanding. Our students enjoy sporting success at district and national level and benefit from an exceptional extra-curricular programme although our ethos is centred on participation for all.
