Hours are 37 per week, Monday 8.00am to 4.00pm, Tuesday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm

Term time only plus 5 days during school closures

A vacancy has arisen for a calm, committed and enthusiastic Safeguarding Officer / Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our team.  The successful candidate will play a key role managing safeguarding within the school and be the first point of contact/intervention for students, parents and external agencies.


The successful candidate must have a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail. You will be an excellent communicator, confident dealing with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies. 

Applicants must demonstrate a good understanding of school safeguarding policies and procedures and demonstrate a high standard of numeracy and literacy, alongside excellent Microsoft Office skills. 


Experience within a school and or safeguarding environment is essential.
