Job overview
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer in the school and work alongside the Lead Designated Officer. The Safeguarding Officer will deliver safeguarding training and implement policies and procedures and share learning as appropriate with staff, volunteers and governors. They will receive safeguarding referrals and coordinate a procedure which addresses and prioritises the needs of those affected by liaising with statutory agencies and pro-actively work with parents/carers and other agencies through joint planning and monitoring of their arrangements for the safeguarding of children.
