School Administration Assistant Part Time/Temporary (5 day fortnight).

St Ambrose Pottsville is now seeking a Part Time/Temporary Administration Assistant, working 5 days per fortnight (3 day week / 2 day week). This position is to support the Office Manager in the day to day running of the School Office.


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Ability to identify the Mission of a Catholic School and demonstrate Christian Values in dealings with children, parents, teachers and the general public as well as the ability to articulate a deep understanding of the values and ethos of Catholic Schools.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellence in time management and efficiency with the ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Capacity and willingness to work as part of a team and experience in handling tasks with a high degree of confidentiality, reliability and discretion.
  • High degree of computer literacy and competency with a capacity to learn advanced computer skills including efficient use of finance, administration and reporting aspects of school management and accounting software packages (MYOB, SAS, etc). Proficiency using MAC platforms.
  • Excellent administrative and office management skills.
  • Current WWC clearance.


DESIRABLE:

  • Be a practising Catholic with regular Mass attendance.
  • Appropriate qualifications / experience in schools and /or customer service.
  • Be flexible with hours when required and support school extra curricula events.
  • Knowledge and experience of SAS.
  • Current drivers licence and first aid certificate.
