St Philip’s School is a special school and offers places to 185 pupils aged 9 to 19 with a wide range of ability levels and additional needs including complex autism.

The School is located on a spacious green site in Chessington, in the Royal Borough of Kingston and has extensive indoor and outdoor sports facilities, vocational facilities and a dedicated pupil support team offering a range of therapies.

Dedicated staff are able to support pupils to develop at their own pace due to small class size whether following academic pathways or vocational skills. Applications are invited from individuals interested in working in a genuinely unique setting with strong administrative and organizational skills, you will support the School Business Manager and Admin team in a range of administrative and office duties, including producing School Annual Reviews, and maintaining Risk Assessments as well as providing effective and confidential administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will:

·        Have the ability to work to a high level of autonomy, including determining and organizing information; to work under pressure with initiative.

·        Have Good literacy and numeracy skills.

·        Be able to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) at all levels to a variety of audiences e.g., students, staff, parents, and visitors.

·        Show the ability to work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines.

·        Be aware of, and comply with all school policies and procedures, particularly relating to child protection, first aid, safety and security, confidentiality, data protection, reporting any concerns to the relevant person.
