Job overview

Oxford High School have three opportunities for experienced and customer-focused Administrators to support the smooth running of our leading independent day school based in the heart of Oxford.

These are busy roles where you will assist in providing a general and supportive administrative service.  This will include preparing documents for staff, filing documents, preparing mail, assisting with school newsletters and leaflets as well as ensuring office equipment is well maintained and stocked.

Key to the role will be excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate well to people on all levels with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy. 

If you are able to remain calm under pressure, work to tight deadlines and have prior administration experience we would love to hear from you.

About Oxford High School for Girls GDST

Oxford High School is an independent, non-denominational, all-through school for girls without nursery and with sixth form, situated in three sites in Summertown, North Oxford. It is one of 26 members of the GDST (Girls’ Day School Trust), meaning it is governed by the council and operates according to the trust’s policy. The school provides 906 places for primary, secondary and sixth-form students aged 4-19.

Oxford High School was founded in 1875 and is the oldest girls' school in the city. Until recently it accepted boys into its junior school, but is now girls-only.
