Rhodes Wood Hospital School is  a small school of up to 39 students looking for an experienced Administrator who will be a crucial member of our school team .  The successful applicant will  be responsible for the effective running and administration of the School including their finances,  ensuring that the School adheres to all regulations and providing administrative support to the Head Teacher.

We welcome applications from people with previous administration experience who are proactive in finding solutions. Working in a supportive environment, you will have first rate IT skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload.

You will be someone who is passionate and highly motivated to achieve the best outcomes for the young people who join the school and help to create an outstanding centre of education. You will be working in a hospital-based school for young people with eating disorders.

We  are looking for:     

  • a person who has business and / or administration qualifications at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent     
  • previous experience in a school office environment (desirable)    
  • has excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills    
  • has the ability to use their initiative to support the learning needs of all children and work well as   part of a team    
  • confident use and experienced in use of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook    
  • has experience of management information systems e.g. SIMS ( desirable)   
  • a flexible and versatile approach to work  
  •  good team work skills and is confident, caring and patient   
  • is interested in working with professionals from other disciplines   
  • is committed to on-going training and development
