Geoffrey Field Junior School is a well-established school at the heart of the local community. In 2018 OFSTED described us as a “friendly and popular school” which continues to be rated Good.

We are looking for a flexible, hardworking person with a good sense of humour who will be instrumental in the smooth running of our busy school office. As a key member of our frontline team, you will be a welcoming and friendly face to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.

You should be an experienced administrator with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office software. You will be responsible for administration activities across the school, including pupil attendance, data, communications, and school clubs. Previous experience of working in a school (including first aid and IT systems) would be beneficial but is not essential as all necessary training will be provided.

Do you want to work in a fun and supportive environment with people who are committed to your development? If so we would love to hear from you and show you around our school.

To arrange a visit or request an application pack please contact the school by calling 0118 937 5475 or by emailing the school admin@geoffreyfield-jun.reading.sch.uk

Please do not send a CV. For the purposes of Equal Opportunities we can only accept Reading Borough Council application forms. Please ensure that all application documentation is returned by email to bursar@geoffreyfield-jun.reading.sch.uk

Closing date: 9am Friday 28 June 2019.

Applications will be considered as received, and interviews arranged accordingly.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be sought from the successful candidate.
