Level 4 (SCP 26 – 31) - £8,875 pa (pro rata)

We are seeking to recruit an Administrator to provide administrative support to the Executive Group of the Shanidar TSA.

The Shanidar Teaching School Alliance has been approved in Cohort 10 by the Department of Education to provide high quality Initial Teacher Training, Continuous Professional Development and School to School support across the West Yorkshire Region. This develops the work of a local partnership of special schools in Bradford (known as the Bradford DAP) to expand provision across the region.

This is a finance and coordination role which will support our Teaching School Alliance in delivery of high quality initial teacher training, professional development and school improvement across schools in Bradford. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced administrator for maternity cover for the current post holder who will work directly to the Director of the Teaching School Alliance. Ideally you will have extensive experience of working in an administrative role, be an expert in using Microsoft Excel, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with strong organisational and administrative abilities. Whilst the post is based at Southfield Grange Trust campus, there will be some occasional travel to meetings in other schools and so an ability to drive would be an advantage.

Recruitment Selection date:     Friday 2 November  2018

The Shanidar Teaching School Alliance is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff, casual workers and volunteers to share this commitment.  Safer recruitment practices and procedures are in place to ensure a robust safeguarding culture.  The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and vetting check.  As required a “Teachers Prohibition Check”, “Section 128 Management check” and “EEA teacher regulatory authority restriction check” will be undertaken. References will be undertaken and proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required before any employment starts.
