Salary scale:    Level 5 SCP 22.1: £21,177  (FTE £23,525) per annum

Hours:    37 hours per week, 5 days per week, Term time plus 2 weeks

We are looking for someone to work as part of the busy administration team in supporting the school in attaining its aims and objectives by providing the most effective and efficient service to the school.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a comprehensive confidential administrative service to the school to support the development of pupils with severe learning difficulties with profound and multiple needs.

The post holder will be computer literate with a good knowledge of word for the production of correspondence, and the use of spreadsheets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for dealing with pupils, parents, relatives, teachers and local authority staff. The ability to work on own and prioritise, and to meet tight deadlines is essential.

Arbour Vale School provides a stimulating yet safe learning environment enabling each pupil/student to achieve to their maximum potential whilst managing their specialist and complex physical, health and learning needs.  Arbour Vale converted to Academy status on November 1st 2018 and became part of Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust. 

Arbour Vale School is a generic special needs school and caters for pupils with speech, language and communication difficulties, PMLD, SLD, ASD and MLD. Abilities are wide ranging throughout the school.
