Values and vision

The Gaelic motto "Neart-Tre-Eolas", meaning "Strength Through Knowledge", features on the school’s badge.
Douglas Academy aims to give all pupils the  opportunity to enjoy a range of subjects suited to their interests and aptitudes. The school believes that with the support of teachers, parents and support staff, its students will become “Successful Learners, Responsible Citizens, Effective Contributors and Confident Individuals” who will change the world of tomorrow for the better.
