Blessed Trinity RC College has a clear ambition to be an outstanding education provider and the Governors wish to appoint an exceptional candidate to the role of School Business Manager to support the school in this journey.   

Blessed Trinity is a busy, over-subscribed, 1250 place 11-16 establishment.  We have an amazing, purpose built school enabling us to provide the very best teaching and learning opportunities within a bright, modern facility.  The school is located in extensive grounds and is situated close to Burnley Town Centre.  The school is easily accessed from across the region by bus, train and car and is located just a five-minute drive from the M65, Junction 10.  Governors are looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced individual to join our fantastic school.  

The post holder will play a key role within the school leading the whole school business functions of, Finance, Administration, Human Resources, Health & Safety, ICT, Premises and Catering and will be supported by an able team of professionals.  This would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced, ambitious, School Business Manager with a strong financial background and a proven record of delivering change looking to develop further within a large organisation.     

The successful applicant will have the highest personal and professional standards and will have a good knowledge of education and the changing education landscape.  They will be highly motivated and be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and drive improvements within the business functions of the school in order to support teaching and learning.  It is important to have the ability to work well as part of a team but have the confidence and skill-set to work independently.  You will be an effective communicator and have the ability to work well with staff and other stakeholders at all levels.

The school follows four core values: love God, serve others, work hard and value all. Pupils at Blessed Trinity RC College are recognised for their high performance across sport and the arts. The school encourages talents and new interests after class with a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, including the Duke of Edinburgh Award and dance lessons. Pupils are able to explore their Christian faith with optional Chapel drop ins during lunch.
