Job overview
The role of the School Business Manager is critical to the success of the London Screen Academy and the wider Day One Trust. It is a leadership role (and may sit on the SLT) responsible for a range of operational and administrative functions. To be successful the individual will need to lead delivery through the people that they manage, working with others across the school and contractors in addition to personally delivering in some key areas of the role. They will also contribute to and take shared responsibility for the cross-Trust systems and processes that are in place in DOT schools. They will need to understand the school’s strategy and priorities and articulate it to their own staff, so that those staff all understand and take ownership of their contribution to these.

LSA is a new sixth form academy for London students which opened in September 2019. We will teach the skills and background knowledge needed to join the screen industries (which include film and television), to progress to higher education or to enter other professions.
Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do.
LSA is unique and exciting; never before has there been such a partnership between outstanding educators and global screen industry leaders. Our students will be taught by London’s best teachers and people who make their living working in the film and television industries.
