Oak Multi Academy Trust has an outstanding opportunity for a resilient, dynamic and self-motivated individual to join Manor High School as their School Business Manager.
It is an exciting time to join our Trust, which formed on 1st April comprising of Manor High School, Brookside Primary School, Overdale Infants School, Overdale Junior School and Woodland Grange Primary School.
Manor High is a secondary school of around 900 students with a culturally diverse population, set in the highly desirable residential area of Oadby. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the post holder is accountable to the Headteacher and is responsible for ensuring that the finances of Manor High School are managed effectively and efficiently, together with line management responsibility of the admin and site teams.
The ideal candidate will have:
· A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
· Substantial experience of leading the budgetary management and control within an organisation
· Substantial experience of leading, managing and motivating teams
An SBM specific qualification, e.g. CSBM, DSBM, or professional accountancy qualification, and / or knowledge of education finance is desirable but not essential.
