SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGER REQUIRED FOR A VIBRANT SCHOOL

36 hours per week 52 weeks per year

We are currently recruiting for a School Business Manager to work within our multi academy trust. If you are looking for your next challenge within the school business leaders sector this could be the right job for you!

Communitas Education a Multi-Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint an experienced School Business Manager to develop, implement and manage school business systems and processes within the Trust. The School Business Manager will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and business functions to ensure that teaching and learning are well supported and that the students are safe and happy.

Working with the Director of Finance & Business and the Headteacher, you will support the development of school budgets, in addition to taking responsibility for school level procurement, health and safety, lead on all aspects of HR, premises management, catering and  schools contract management. In order to deliver the diverse range of responsibilities, you will have sound academy financial and operational management experience, preferably in the education sector. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to operate in a complex environment with competing interests. You will have experience in finance administration and school operations.

You need: 

· A keen eye for detail

· The ability to produce clear, concise and informative financial reports

· To be a credible leader and excellent communicator, working closely with our staff team, children, parents and the schools local governing body.
