A vacancy has arisen, due to the retirement of the present post holder at the end of this academic year.  This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive individual to fulfil this role.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and caring School Business Manager to support the leadership team in delivering high expectations and standards. 

About You

The key responsibilities for this role include the management of: Finance, HR, Admin, Facilities, ICT and Health & Safety.

You must be able to build and maintain successful relationships with people, treating them consistently, with respect and consideration.

You will be expected to be a member of the school’s senior leadership team and be able to develop and deliver long term strategic plans and forecasts for the school. You should have proven management experience and hold an appropriate qualification in school business management or equivalent.  Have experience of guiding, motivating and developing team members, management of contracts and/or financial bidding systems and excellent financial acumen.  

You will be able to demonstrate experience in:

• Planning and managing budgets

• Line management

• Monitoring of contracts
