The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic development of all business, financial, administrative, operational and facilities aspects of the school. This person will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Preston Park continues to provide an excellent education to its students.

• Premises/Health & Safety

• Personnel & Human Resources Management 

• Communications/ICT

• General Management & Administrations

We are looking for an individual who can share the founding vision and ethos for Preston Park, (please visit the school and look on the school’s website). Must be excited by the chance to contribute to Preston Park Primary and driven to do what it takes to succeed.

The successful candidate will have proven financial and management experience, preferably in a primary school context, the ability to collate, analyse and present data to different audiences, as well as the ability to lead and inspire a broad range of staff. The role involves working with confidential information and familiarity with computer programs such as SIMS and FSM would be an advantage. 

The core purpose of the role will be to lead a business growth and development strategy and have responsibility for business innovation, financial, IT and premises aspects of the school in order that the Headteacher and senior leaders can focus on teaching and learning and raising standards at Preston Park.  

We require an experienced, highly motivated, highly skilled individual who can add an extra dimension to our thinking.  

The successful candidate should have: 

• GCSE English & Maths or equivalent qualification

• Extensive experience of working in an educational environment 

• Experience of working with computerised systems for budget management 

• Experience of managing staff in diverse roles

• Display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children 

• Ability to be diplomatic, tactful and maintain confidentiality

• Knowledge of new GDPR regulations

About Preston Park Primary School

Preston Park Primary School in Wembley, north-west London, is a mixed community school for children aged 3-11. The pupil roll is over 600.   Preston Park Primary School is well resourced with rich indoor and outdoor learning environments comprising bright classrooms, spacious playgrounds, a school farm and a wildlife nature reserve.

The nursery at Preston Park has 60 part-time children. We also have a 2 year old provision on site.
