School Careers Advisor (0.8) required for August or September 2020

We seek to appoint a highly motivated, extremely well organised, proactive individual to this important role. 

This is an exciting opportunity to help our school continue to provide the very best Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance for our students. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the efficient and successful delivery and reporting of Careers advice and guidance.  They will take an active lead in ensuring the school works towards compliance with the Gatsby Benchmarks with the full support of SLT. 

Applicants should hold the QCG/D Qualification in Career Guidance Level 6.

It would be expected that the successful candidate would provide careers interviews as well as ‘drop-in’ advice clinics using initiative to work out the best ways of communicating and working with students. They would also work with business and other organisations to help provide work placements including internships and visiting speakers.
