The Academy requires a Chef to join the busy Catering Department which provides an all day catering service to 1,350 students and staff.
The Chef will work predominantly Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. - 15:00pm during term time with six additional evening events paid at flat-rate overtime.
The Chef should be able to assist with the daily running of the kitchen, have good attention to detail and cope well under pressure.
Hold basis hygiene certificate
Be able to prepare, cook & present food to the highest standards at high volume
Be able to help take in heavy food deliveries
Ensure that the working environment is clean, tidy & safe
Be able to work using own initiative and also be an effective team player
Experience of working as a Chef in a high volume catering establishment is preferred but not essential
