School Cleaner

Work Timings: Monday to Friday, 3:15pm - 5:45pm; 12.5 hours per week

Work Pattern: Term Time with an additional 3 weeks recess cleaning 

Salary: Scale 1 Points 1 - 2

We require a cleaner to join our hard working and friendly premises team as soon as possible. The role requires the effective regular cleaning of classrooms, offices, toilets, staff areas and other facilities during term-time and deeper cleans as directed by the Site Manager during some school closure periods.

Some of your other main responsibilities and tasks will include:

• Undertaking the cleaning of designated areas to the highest possible standards. 
• Operating the cleaning machinery in cleaning soft and hard surfaces, eg. vacuum cleaners and polishers.
• Working as part of a team and ensure all tasks are completed in the allotted time.
• Adhering to all school rules, regulations, procedures and policies.
• Actively participating in any appropriate training.
• Providing cover in the short term absence of another team member if time allows.
