We are seeking an excellent Counsellor to join Goresbrook School. The Counsellor position is an exciting opportunity and will suit an experienced professional with a proven track record of counselling in schools and a comprehensive knowledge of interventions and pupil support services. The successful candidate will possess the capacity to effectively respond to sensitive and complex pupil concerns, effective individual and group counselling skills and effective case management with an extensive understanding of safeguarding policy, response and practices; as well as demonstrate a genuine resonance with the GBS values.

You must be appropriately qualified for this position and have knowledge and experience of working with children.

We currently have 600 students, years 7 to 11. We will continue to grow each year until we are at full capacity, 720 students including our Sixth Form, which we will open in September 2021.
