School Counsellor

(Term time only)

5 days per week, term time only, 9:00 – 2:30 (3 days per week) and 10:00-4:30 (2 days per week). We would consider a job share.

We have a vacancy for a School Counsellor who will provide a counselling service for students in Years 7-13. The successful candidate would need to perform duties within the codes of practice and ethics recommended by the BACP, UKCP or equivalent organisation. The role would require an accredited qualification in counselling recognised by a professional body like the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).  The scope of this post also includes a key role in more broadly promoting mental and emotional health and well-being at our school.
