One day per week, term time only

A qualified counsellor is required to provide a confidential counselling service as part of the St Paul’s objective to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all its pupils. Some staff counselling may also be required.

Applicants will have a diploma/degree in counselling, be registered with the BACP and be able to evidence effective use of counselling skills. Qualification in and experience of using CBT would be an advantage. A background that includes work with young people is essential, along with secure knowledge of safeguarding guidelines and the BACP ethical framework. The role will also require good organisational skills and a positive, outgoing and approachable attitude.

St Paul’s Girls’ School is one of the country’s leading independent secondary day schools for girls aged 11-18. Housed in a grade II listed building on Brook Green, the school provides excellent facilities and is easily accessed by public transport (zone 2).
