We are looking for a qualified Counsellor to start as soon as possible. The successful applicant will provide a professional and confidential counselling service to students, promoting their emotional health and well being and building their resilience to help them cope with the difficulties they face. To carry out the role you must be fully qualified and registration with BACP is essential.
Gosford Hill School is situated in Kidlington, on the north western edge of Oxford near to the new Oxford Parkway Station (a 50 minute journey from London), with ample staff parking and on the main bus route into Oxford. We work closely with Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University. We are also fortunate to be at the gateway to the rural Cotswolds. We prioritise staff well being and development and our ‘Golden Ticket’ scheme rewards strong staff attendance. Visits to the school, by arrangement, are welcome.
The post is for 25 hours per week with the preferred pattern of working 9am – 2.00pm Monday – Friday. A variation of the working pattern would be considered for the right candidate.
